JON GUERSTER

Jon joins the non sibi team having recently stepped down as CEO of EDF Group’s Dalkia Energy Solutions, where he was responsible for strategy, overall operations and Dalkia’s US corporate development program.  Jon assumed this role after Groom Energy Solutions, the company he founded and led as CEO, was acquired by Dalkia France. 

 

Currently, Jon is a Partner at Activate Capital, a leading growth stage private equity firm focused on sustainability and the industrial economy.  Previously, Jon was co-founder and Board Member of Digital Lumens, an LED lighting company.  Prior, Jon was a general partner at Charles River Ventures (CRV), a leading venture capital firm with $2 billion under management.  Before joining CRV, Jon served as senior management at Open Market, a startup e-commerce software company and as senior product marketing and sales management at Hewlett Packard and J.P. Morgan.

 

Jon holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University with Distinction and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
