ANDREA ABEGGLEN

Auny is an entrepreneurial business strategy and marketing expert, with over 25 years of experience building companies from ideation and start-up through exit. As president of her own consulting firm for the past 8 years, Auny has filled the role of acting CMO for a variety of start-ups and turnarounds, including PE backed, and privately held businesses. In her role, she creates and executes effective strategic marketing plans, for mission-oriented companies from CPG to EV. She is passionate about branding, communication and digital marketing that successfully drive revenue. 


Early in her career, Auny was a founding partner in several successful start-ups, including Student Advantage (SA) and Crimson & Brown Associates (CBA). As a co-founder of SA, she helped take the company public from its initial start-up
phase and helped grow it from 10 to over 500 employees. As president of CBA, Auny was instrumental in the sale of CBA to Kaplan (a Washington Post company).

 

Auny went on to head up marketing for Monster.com’s student focused businesses; MonsterCollege and FastWeb, as well as the MonsterCommunities. She then joined the San Francisco based media company, Gigaom, as VP of marketing where she re-branded the company and launched their lead generation
program.


In 2015, Auny began her own successful consultancy. Recent client engagements include Canidae, Marc Randolph, NOLS, NorCal Cannabis Company, Online Marketing Institute, and VinFast US.
